Hanno Valve advanced flange gate valves are multi-purpose bi-directional shutoff valves for commercial and industrial applications. Flange gate valves are with assurance of the warranty, along with superior customer service expertise.
Hanno Valve durable flange gate valves are efficient stop valves designed to control the flow of fluids in either direction. These valves are manufactured according to ANSI classes 150, 300, 600, 800, 900, 1500, and 2500, with sizes ranging from 1/2” to 72” nominal diameter, providing a broad selection to meet the diverse needs of users.
Ideal for high-pressure applications, flange gate valves are commonly used in industries involving gas, water, oil, and paper/pulp, meeting API 600 and API 602 standards. Additionally, a forged steel body option is available. Carbon steel, an alloy of iron and carbon, is reinforced with small amounts of manganese (max 1.65%), silicon (max 0.60%), and copper (max 0.60%), which do not significantly alter its properties but enhance the material's strength and durability.
The flexible wedge disc design of our flange gate valves helps prevent sticking in high-temperature services with significant temperature fluctuations. It features two separate seating faces connected by a short axle, allowing independent movement and ensuring tightness across various pressures and temperatures. Regarding stem arrangements, there are three main types: inside screw (rising stem), inside screw (non-rising stem), and outside screw (rising stem). Inside screw valves are cost-effective but not ideal for corrosive, erosive, or high-temperature fluids due to the risk of thread binding. The non-rising stem design is useful when headroom is limited and reduces wear on packing. Outside screw, rising stem valves have external threads, preventing exposure to pipeline fluid, and offering lubrication access, though they require adequate headroom and protection.
