Product Description

Hanno Valve high temperature gate valve with heat dissipation is a specially engineered isolation valve designed for reliable shut‑off in thermal fluid systems operating at elevated temperatures. By incorporating an extended bonnet and integrated heat dissipation structure, this valve effectively reduces heat transfer from the valve body to the stem, packing, and actuator. It is widely used in high‑temperature steam, thermal oil, and flue gas applications across power generation, petrochemical, refining, and energy industries.

Manufactured by Zhejiang Hengnuo Valve Manufacturing Co., Ltd. under the Hanno Valve brand, this series represents over 25 years of valve manufacturing expertise. The company operates from a modern 18,000 m² production facility located in Zhejiang Lishui Bihu Valve Industry Area, China's renowned industrial valve manufacturing base. Key Design Features

Heat Dissipation Structure

Unlike standard gate valves, this model features a purpose‑built heat sink system designed to protect critical sealing components from extreme temperatures:

Extended Bonnet: Increases the distance between the hot valve body and the cooler packing area, significantly lowering the temperature at the gland and stem seals.

Finned or Ribbed Structure: Extended surface area enhances natural convection and radiative cooling, effectively dissipating heat before it reaches the upper stem and packing chamber.

Air‑Cooled Chamber: An air gap or finned section acts as a thermal barrier, minimizing conductive heat transfer from the body to the bonnet and actuator.

High‑Temp Packing System: Reinforced graphite or ceramic fiber packing maintains sealing integrity at high stem temperatures, ensuring reliable long‑term performance.

This design ensures extended packing life, reduced maintenance frequency, and improved operator safety.


Material Selection

To withstand high‑temperature creep, oxidation, and thermal cycling, materials are carefully selected:

Body & Bonnet: A217 WC6/WC9/C5, A351 CF8C

Gate & Seat: Hard‑faced with Stellite or similar wear‑resistant alloys

Stem: A182 F6a, F304, F316, or precipitation‑hardened stainless steels

Packing: Flexible graphite with anti‑extrusion rings
